I actually attempted to join twice in quick succession with two different user names / email addresses and both only got accepted yesterday.

Sounds more like someone's not managing their forum properly to me!

What was the point of you joining four months ago anyway ?

I'm a Chasetown fan and was going to join in with your debate after the 1-1 draw at our place. A game you probably should have won!

But we got promotion after a decent run in and a couple of great nights at home against Mickleover & then Sheffield in the play-off semi. They're the sort of games I watch non-league football for !

Can't see us doing too well in the Premier tbh, I think survival will be an achievement and ground improvements still haven't been started - partly due to ground being in the Green Belt and partly the finances.

Anyway good luck in the new season and maybe we might meet again soon.
